Why is TechnologyAdvice Free?

Conferences: an opportunity to build your skills and gather knowledge about new best practices and innovations in your field. Also, an excuse to see Vegas for free (if your company pays for travel).

If you love conferences, 2017 is going to be a banner year. Demand generation marketers will find at least one conference a month to attend for the first three quarters of the year. If you love networking and want to go back to marketing school for a day or two, take a look at our list of the top conferences in 2017 for demand generation marketers.

Affiliate Summit West Jan 15-17, Las Vegas / Affiliate Summit East July 30-Aug 1, 2017, New York

Affilate Summit is coming to both coasts this year —  first to Las Vegas in January and then to New York this summer. If you want to go to Vegas, you need to act fast, since The Paris hotel is already sold out. Affiliate Summit does offer early bird pricing,  so watch the websites. Both summits offer VIP and networking packages as well. Look for keynotes from Conversion Sciences and PushFire, networking and education for marketers, technologists, selling networks, bloggers, and more.

B2B Marketing Exchange Feb 20-22, Scottsdale

Demand Gen Summit is the fastest-growing summit at the B2B Marketing Exchange conference, which includes four total tracks: Demand Gen, B2B/C2C (Content 2 Conversion), ABM In Action Live, and Sales Impact Summit. In each of these you’ll find tiered tracks for different knowledge and experience levels and a focus on proven marketing tactics to grow your business. These four tracks are a great way to expand your knowledge in different stages of the B2B funnel.

Intech 2017 UK February 23, 2017, London

This technology-focused marketing conference is another option from B2B Marketing™ for 2017. Enjoy B2B marketing speakers like Joel Harrison — demand generation director at HP — and Louis Fernandes from IBM. This one-day conference will provide insight and planning ideas for your demand gen team.

LeadsCon March 20-22, 2017, Las Vegas / LeadsCon + B2B LeadsCon August 21-23, 2017, New York

LeadsCon features more than 75 speakers at three summits in The Paris hotel and casino. Whether you hope to partner with marketers, buyers, or sellers, LeadsCon brings education and networking opportunities aplenty. Planned sessions include data on the new face of leads, compliance, mobile conversions, and many others.

B2B LeadsCon is one of two tracks held at the US LeadsCon conference in New York. Plan on attending 1-to-1 labs for guidance on topics ranging from ABM and SEO to behavioral targeting. There are three planned networking receptions, and all of this is preceded by Monday’s online traffic workshop: Path2Conversion.

Marketo Marketing Nation Summit April 23-26, 2017, San Francisco

This four-day marketing summit run by B2B marketing software giant Marketo may prove to be the most immersive conference experience of the year. Come early to participate in the Sunday fun run. Stay to receive your Marketo certification on University Day or watch the Revvie Awards, which recognized Marketo users who “achieve excellence” in design, planning, and integrated campaigns.

MarTech May 9-11, 2017, San Francisco

This year’s MarTech conference will be held at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square. If you’re interested in the intersection of marketing and technology, this is your event. Topics include building solutions to scale, shifting to agile practices, and many more. Your team will love the stack and talent development expo. This conference is focused on senior-level marketing and technology professionals interested in growing output through marketing technology.

Distilled: SearchLove Conference Boston (June 5-6), San Diego (Feb 23-24), and London (Oct 16-17)

Past Distilled speakers include Rand Fishkin of Moz and Purna Virji of Microsoft. This is a two-day, single-track conference, so you’ll get an immersive experience without having to move between a dozen rooms. Plan time for a one-on-one with online marketing and search experts in a clinical environment.

B2B Marketing™ Ignite 2017  June 22, 2017, London

Formerly known as B2B Marketing Summit, Ignite has revamped their conference by increasing the content “streams” to five, so you’re guaranteed to find relevant, helpful information and speakers. You should also stick around for the awards, the tech demo stage, and the Young Innovators competition, which will showcase 27-and-under marketers who have made an impact in the industry.

Inbound 2017 Sept 25-28, Boston

Hosted by marketing giant HubSpot, Inbound is one of the most exciting marketing conferences in the sphere. This conference is still in its planning stages, but you can sign up for updates, register, and watch some of the talks from 2016 on the website. Speakers from last year included Gary Vaynerchuck, Anna Kendrick, and Rand Fishkin.

B2B Marketing Forum Oct 3-6, 2017, Boston

B2B Marketing Forum is in its 10th year of spreading B2B knowledge. Sign up during the early adopter period and save (ends January 31, 2017). Held at the Westin Boston Waterfront, B2B forum provides workshops for content and strategy in addition to keynotes and speakers. If you’re short on time, you can get a workshop-only pass.
